What is an Exploded Business Card?

How long does the process take?

Printing time is approximately 7-10 days from a final signed off proof. However, your print-ready PDF file can be ready sooner. We suggest getting started at least 3 weeks before you'd like to mail or pass out your Exploded Business Cards. Earlier is generally better. Expedited process available upon request at additional fee.

How does printing work?

We offer 4-color digital print-services at fantastic prices. OR if you have a printer you prefer, we are more than happy to send you the print-ready PDF file for your use. contact us

Can I make changes internally to the files?

You may select the print-ready PDF file as part of your package. A professional printer will be able to produce the final product, but they will need the full version of Adobe Acrobat in order to make changes.

What makes them different than a postcard?

Get the most bang for your buck! The unique fold-over design of the cards makes them stand out in the mail, while networking or at a tradeshow. Integrate a business card and you have a piece that TRIPLES the use - it's a postcard, a brochure and a business card - all in ONE.

What is the finished size?

Exploded Business Cards start at 8.5 X 5.5 and fold to 4.25 X 5.5. They easily fit inside an A2 sized envelope. You can order envelopes in a variety of colors and styles here.

Can I order samples?

We are pleased to provide you with a sample. Once your order is placed, your sample should arrive within 5-7 business days. Be sure to include your name and address in the email. Please limit 1 per customer. order sample

What is the process?

The process starts when you place the order. An associate will call you within 1 business day to confirm your order and begin the discovery process. Once the discovery process is complete, you can expect to see your first draft within 5-7 business days. After you approve the artwork, you can either request to receive your artwork via print-ready PDF for a small fee or you can order printed cards directly from our site. What kind of printing do you offer?

We are pleased to provide all our printing on a 4-color digital press at 200 linescreen. Final cards are provided scored (not folded) on 16 pt CS2 (very thick) cardstock with UV Coating on both sides. Other specifications estimated upon request.

Do you offer mailing services?

We have teamed up with mailing partners to bring you the best in mailing services including sorting, labels, direct print and stuffing. Contact us for more information.

Do you offer photographs for my design?

Yes, we offer royalty free stock photography from photos.com at no additional charge. Once we've determined a theme for your piece, your draft will contain photos found on this site. If you should need to use the graphics for other pieces, you may purchase royalty-free stock photos from photos.com or from a variety of sources including BigStockPhoto.com. Your photos are welcome as well.

How do I submit photos for my EXPLODED BUSINESS CARD®?

You can email your digital photos to photos@fruitiondesign.net or mail them to Fruition Advertising & Design. Contact us for the address. If you are mailing your photographs please be sure to include heavy cardboard in the envelopes to prevent them from bending. You will be charged a minimum of $20 for each high-resolution scan.

If I am submitting digital photos, what dpi do they need to be?

Your photographs should be at least 300dpi at the size we'll be using them. If you're using a digital camera just be sure it's set to the highest quality the camera will allow and we'll do the rest.

Can you guarantee colors?

Printers vary in color and saturation from printer to printer. Although we can come close to your colors, we cannot guarantee final output. Feel free to contact us if you have any concerns regarding your colors: contact
